Zacatecas has a great selection of hotels. Each of the expensive hotels that I've selected has something that sets it apart from the rest. The Quinta Real has the classic old bullring. The Emporio is on the square, and its front rooms have a great view of the Cerro de la Bufa. El Jobito captures the air of an old vecindad. In the fall and winter, heat can come in handy. Of the hotels listed here, all but the Condesa have heaters in the rooms, but many hotels in Zacatecas do not. And in the summer, air-conditioning would be nice, but very few hotels have it. Prices quoted here include the 18% tax. Highest rates are for Easter and Christmas holidays and August through September.
