Getting There
Sevilla’s Aeropuerto San Pablo, Calle Almirante Lobo (tel. 90-240-47-04; www.aena-aeropuertos.es), is served by nearly two dozen airlines, including Iberia, Air Europa, Vueling, British Air, EasyJet, and Ryanair. The airport lies 9.6km (6 miles) from the center of the city, along the highway leading to Carmona. A bus run byTransportes Urbanos de Sevilla(tel. 90-245-99-54) meets all incoming flights and transports you into the center of Sevilla for 4€.
Train service into Sevilla is centralized into the Estación Santa Justa, Av. Kansas City s/n (tel. 90-242-22-42; www.renfe.com). Buses C1 and C2 take you from this train station to the bus station at Prado de San Sebastián, and bus EA runs to and from the airport. The high-speed AVE train has reduced travel time from Madrid to Sevilla to 2 1/2 hours. The train makes 18 trips daily, with a stop in Córdoba, and costs 55€ to 86€. About three dozen trains daily connect Sevilla and Córdoba, taking from 45 minutes to 1 1/4 hours. Ten additional trains run to Málaga (2–2 1/2 hr.) and four trains to Granada (3 1/4 hr.).
The new bus station at Plaza de Armas (tel. 95-490-80-40) handles most long-distance bus traffic, while most buses within Andalucía use the Prado de San Sebastián terminal near Plaza de España, Calle Manuel Vazquez Sagastizabal, s/n. Sevilla is 549km (341 miles) southwest of Madrid and 217km (135 miles) northwest of Málaga. Several major highways converge on Sevilla, connecting it with the rest of Spain and Portugal. Sevilla is easy to drive to, but extremely difficult to drive around in (or to park).
