Thinking Rockies and Need Advice

by Bennie Jet »

My wife and I are contemplating a trip to the Rockies, starting in Vancouver.

Are there any "don't miss" things to see and do??

Thanks!

The Icefields Parkway is excellent--we spent just over a week driving and exploring.  Glaciers, wildlife, adventure activities, scenic mountains, nice towns and cities.  There is so much to see and do--check out the website.

We flew from Baltimore to Edmonton and rented a car.  Drove to Jasper and then on down the parkway ending up in Calgary. We flew home from there.

we are also thinking of doing the Canadian Rockies next summer but I am lost without a Frommers guidebook.  I can't find any info , even on line trying to get brochures sent to us, maps, etc.. Nothing is available??   Everytime I type in canadian rockies I get some bus company that tours .   We want to do on our own and without frommers guides I really can't map out this trip. Am completely frustrated.

In canada you can have some pricious moment with you wife at Canadian Rockies, It is really a nice place to see the mountain range and enjoy hiking and other exciting things to do. I am sure your wife with have great time there and she should not miss a chance to visit this ideal place during his Canada trip.

The Canadian Rockies is the most famous and great mountain in Canada. I also visited there with  my Girlfriend. It is truly great and lovely place in this country.  There are many great and wonderful views of nature. I would like to go there again.  It is also best for hiking.
