Five Guys is taking over the world! Yeah, I know it’s a chain, but it’s our chain, a family operation that got started in Arlington 34 years ago. You’ve got various iterations of hamburgers, all of which come in two sizes; assorted hot dogs; a BLT; a veggie sandwich; a grilled cheese; and your choice of regular or Cajun-style fries. One immediate difference between Five Guys and most other popular burgeries, like D.C.’s Good Stuff Eatery, is the absence of a “magic sauce.” You do get to add as many as 15 toppings, grilled onions to tomatoes, for free. D.C. currently has nine Five Guys, including this Penn Quarter/Chinatown location.
