Biking

With its flat terrain and shady streets, Rehoboth is ideal for bicycling. Bikes are allowed on the boardwalk between 5 and 10am from May 15 to September 15, and anytime off-season.

A scenic 6-mile Junction and Breakwater Trail connects Rehoboth and Lewes via a crushed stone trail suitable for walkers, joggers, bikers, and wheelchairs; motorized vehicles are prohibited. The 15 mile round-trip takes 2 hours or more, depending on where and how long you stop. Find the trail head behind the Tanger Outlets shopping area on the east side of Route 1. A map is available at www.destateparks.com/downloads/trails/j-and-b-trail.pdf.
