The dining patio of this West End restaurant extends out over the edges of the low cliffs to which the Rockhouse resort clings so you can hear the crash of the waves against the rocks as the sun sets into the waters of the Caribbean before you.

Star dishes include the blackened Mahi Mahi with mango chutney and the old time synting, a stew of snapper, shrimp, calamari, and crayfish simmered in a Jamaican coconut “run down” sauce and served with rice in a coconut shell. There are also several Jamaica-meets-Tex-Mex dishes, like the fajita-style jerk chicken roll ups, lobster blaze (rolled in a tortilla with salsa and sour cream), and the quesadilla-like crab turnovers with a black bean and papaya salsa.

If you are planning on ordering a full meal, consider splurging by reserving the Rock table, a romantically isolated gazebo with a 180-degree ocean view and a set-price, four-course menu at $100 per person.
