The little community of Sesto di Moriano, just north of town, offers one of region’s most pleasant dining experiences in a relaxed 300-year-old country dining room decorated with ceramics and antiques and where friendly staff preserves a welcome nod to old-fashioned service (just as the white linens suggest old-time elegance). Local and seasonal specialties permeate the menu, with plenty of choice from the grill and beautifully prepared game, and trout (fresh and local) has never tasted better. The oil that appears on the table and the wines that accompany meals are from family-owned groves and vineyards. Note that the restaurant has an unusual closing day, Saturday.
