Even the directionally challenged should be able to find their way to this snazzy restaurant, located right above Central's Star Ferry pier. What I most like about dining here is that the glass panels encircling the restaurant can be pushed open when the weather is fine, providing unobstructed views of boats chugging along busy Victoria Harbor and of Kowloon's ever-growing roster of skyscrapers. The menu limits itself to dishes it does really well, like grilled steaks (beef is aged on the premises) and fresh seafood ranging from roast halibut served with artichoke, rosemary, fregola, and bacon to its signiature fish pie, but many diners simply opt for the seafood platter. This is a very romantic place for dinner, with the extra bonus of the nightly Symphony of Lights laser show. Or, come for its new happy hours daily from 3 to 6pm, complete with a snack menu.
