I've always been impressed with this hotel, which offers very good value for the money. With a great location near Temple Street Market, it has an inviting, glass-enclosed atrium lobby with both indoor and outdoor seating, good restaurants and bars, an attractive rooftop pool, daily free tai chi lessons, and even free tours of the nearby Jade Market and Temple Street Market. As if this weren't enough, the hotel also strives for sustainability through a number of measures, including an in-house green team to oversee recycling and make recommendations, donations to a local food bank, and staff participation in community service. Most recently, the hotel also instigated "Green Monday" menus in all its restaurants, with once-a-week vegetarian options that use local, seasonal foods. Rooms, though small, are smart-looking and well equipped, right down to good bedside reading lamps. For families, the hotel recently added 16 Family Rooms with two joining rooms, one with a queen-size bed for the parents and the other with bunk and sofa beds that can sleep three children. Also new are the Smart Rooms, which use recycled materials for  wall panels, but why desks jut out into the room with a wash basin on one end (rather than keeping them in the bahroom) are a mystery to me.
