Surprisingly, Chiang Mai has several very good French restaurants. So when noodles and rice become ho-hum or dining with white tablecloths is preferred, make a reservation here, for both classic French grub and fusion dishes. In the latter category, we’re particularly fond of the foie gras with sweet mango, and the pot au feu with Thai lobster. Other reasons to come: an excellent wine list, intimate nooks for couples wanting privacy, and space for group events. The restaurant has been jam packed since it opened in 2013, so reservations are highly recommended.
