Go underground to the Modern Art Museum for works by René Magritte, Paul Delvaux, James Ensor, Félicien Rops, Pierre Alechinsky, and others.
Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen (Royal Fine Arts Museum; Antwerp): If you want to see the Flemish Masters in all their glory, head to Antwerp, where the Fine Arts Museum has the world's best collection of their works, including the largest group of Rubens masterpieces in existence.
Musée de la Vie Wallonne (Museum of Walloon Life; Liège,): Set in a 17th-century convent, this museum rambles through the history and culture of Belgium's French-speaking region of Wallonia. The exhibits wander through the building that houses them, covering everything from popular arts and crafts to industry and agriculture. There's an interesting section on theater marionettes.
